Structure of an Error Archive Entry
The error archive entries have a uniform structure. A message (divided into the
following five columns) is displayed in the error archive as follows (see Figure
7-15):

Alert
Depending on the error class of a message, an icon is displayed here so that
important errors can be recognized more quickly.

Date
Displays the date and time at which the error message was generated in the
format yy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss
S
Level
Error level of the message
S
Program
that generated the message
S
Message
Error text with up to 10 parameters
The user interface of the error archive also has its own online help. You can start
this using the “Help” menu.
You exit the error archive with “Exit” in the “File” menu.
Up to now, we have only shown you the user interface of the error archive. As
mentioned above, you can change from the error archive to the trace archive user
interface (see Figure 7-15) by selecting the “Trace Messages” option button
instead of the “Error Messages” option button.
