Protective cover
This is used to protect the USB, external PCMCIA, and Ethernet ports and the
power supply connector (power supply unit) (see also Figure 2-2).

On/Off button
To save battery power you can set the unit to a sleep mode (off) and then return
it to normal operation (on).

Function keys F1 to F5
You can assign regularly required functions to the five function keys (see also
Section 7.2).

Touchscreen
Touch-sensitive screen of your MOBIC, your input interface.

Status indicators (LEDs)
There are a total of four LEDs that indicate the status of the unit.

Loudspeaker
The integrated loudspeaker allows you to play audio files.

Carrying strap attachment points
These are used to secure the shoulder or hand strap.
