In the FS20/FS720 System settings, the
BACnet Client Configuration
section
shows the valid client identifiers for the client stations. Note that one of them must
correspond with the Device Identifier of the NK8237 (see p.44).

Configuring the NK8237 for BACnet/IP
The fire system connection to the NK8237 makes use of the BACnet protocol.
1.
If this connection requires a separate LAN port, add a second
Ethernet
node:
a.
Select the
NK8237
node.
b.
In the toolbar on the left, select the
Ethernet #2
icon
.
A new Ethernet node is created under the NK8237 node.
2.
Select the
NK8237
node and expand the subtree.
3.
Select the
Ethernet
node to be used for the BACnet connection.
4.
Select the
Node
tab.
5.
In the form on the right pane, you must enter:
IP address.
Subnet mask.
Default gateway
(optional, it may be left = “0.0.0.0” if not used).
If
NAT
(Network Address Translation) is used on the network, enable it and
enter the external IP address (
NAT address
) of the NK8237.
Note
: you can ignore this step if the Ethernet port is shared with Modbus con-
figuration and the IP settings was already defined for Modbus.
