Managing Authentication
(Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus) is a TCP-based access control protocol that
provides authentication, authorization and accounting services to routers, Network Access Servers (NAS) and
other networked computing devices via one or more centralized servers.
The following section describes how to configure authentication.

Configuring
RUGGEDCOM ROS can be configured to use two servers: a primary server and a backup server. If the
primary server is unavailable, the device will automatically attempt to connect with the backup server.
To configure access to either the primary or backup servers, do the following:
1. Navigate to

Configure TacPlus Server
»
Configure TACACS
Plus Server
. The
TACACS Plus Server
table appears.
