Use the foreign-

command to specify the IP address and subnet mask of the foreign controller. The

foreign-

command is available from the topology:<named-topology>:l3 context of the CLI for b@ac

and routed topologies.

foreign-ip A.B.C.D/0-32

Parameters

A.B.C.D

0-32

Specifies the IP address and subnet mask.

Usage

The

foreign-ip

command is not available when a controller is in standalone mode.

Once an availability pair is established between two controllers, the

foreign-ip

command is only

visible after "sync" is enabled.

Example

The following example specifies the IP address and mask of the foreign controller:
