Emergency release
Description of function
WARNING
An emergency release can only be actuated if the following conditions are met:
•
Neither a DOOR OPEN nor a DOOR CLOSE command is present,
•
The service buttons are not pressed.
•
The SIDOOR SERVICE TOOL and the SIDOOR USER SOFTWARE are not in the
Quick setup or General setup menu commands or one of their submenus.
•
The door has come to a complete stop.
The door drive is only torque-free if these conditions are fulfilled. The force required to open
the door is less than 300 N in accordance with the requirement of EN 81.
Check additional final application-specific requirements.

Learn run
Description of function
A learn run serves to determine and store the system characteristics of the door.
WARNING
Risk of injury during commissioning
•
The door movements cannot always be externally controlled while the controller is being
commissioned (in particular during the automatic determination of parameters). The light
barrier is not active during the learn run.
•
Increased forces, speeds and energies arise in the closing and opening directions
during the learn run.
Therefore, ensure that the door is secured with physical barriers prior to a learn run and
during commissioning.
