3. Now release the button. The bootloader waits in this state for new firmware file that you can
download by TFTP.
Note
If you want to exit the boot loader without making changes, press the SET button briefly. The
device restarts with the loaded configuration.
4. Connect a PC to the device over the Ethernet interface (P1 - P4).
5. Open a DOS box and change to the directory where the new firmware file is located and then
execute the command "tftp -i <ip address> PUT <firmware>". As an alternative, you can use
a different TFTP client.
If you are not sure that the IP address is correct, you can check this, for example with the
Primary Setup Tool.
Note
Using TFTP
If you want to access TFTP in Windows 7, make sure that the corresponding Windows
function is enabled in the operating system.
Result
The firmware is transferred to the device.
Note
Please note that the transfer of the firmware can take several minutes. During the transmission,
the red error LED (F) flashes.
Once the firmware has been transferred completely to the device, the device is restarted
automatically.

If you reset, all the settings you have made will be overwritten by factory defaults.
