Help functions and supported input
The Command Line Interface provides various functions that are helpful when making
entries in the command line:

Command completion with the tab key

Paging in the list of most recently used commands

help
Description
With this command, you display the help entry for a command or the command list.
Syntax
Call up help with the following parameters:
help [command]
Here, you replace
[command]
with the command for which you require help.
If the command for which you require help consists of several words, enter these words
without spaces.
Result
The syntax of the command is displayed.
Syntax
If you call up help without parameters, you will obtain a list of all permitted commands in the
current mode:
help
Result
The mode-specific as well as the global commands are displayed.
Note
Incomplete command names
If you have specified an incomplete command when calling help, a list of all commands that
start with the term you have entered is created.
