CD-ROM Drive
The CD-ROM drive enables you to easily update the already installed
STEP 5, STEP 7 software and Windows 95. The CD-ROM drive is connected
to the secondary IDE interface.

This jack is used to connect a set of headphones. Please use headphones with
a stereo mini-jack plug.
This control is used to adjust the headphone volume. This control has no
effect on the left and right audio outputs from the LINE OUT connector on
the back of the unit.
This indicator lights while data is being read.
This drawer prevents dust from getting inside the CD-ROM reader and
should not be left open. If your programming device is not switched on you
can manually push the tray and close the door of your CD-ROM drive.
Use a clip or any other device to remove the cartridge from the CD-ROM
reader if the electrical eject is disabled by software or if power failure occurs
(See ”Emergency Eject” for details).
This button is pressed to open or close the CD tray when the power of your
programming device is on.
