Interfaces for communications
Interfaces for communication via PROFINET and PROFIBUS DP (as of CPU 1516) are
already integrated in the CPUs. Additional communication modules enhance the
communication capabilities of the SIMATIC S7-1500 with additional functions or interfaces.
