S7-1500R/H configuration with IO devices in the PROFINET ring
Introduction
The following sections set out configurations of the S7-1500R/H redundant system with IO
devices in the PROFINET ring.
Advantages/benefits
●
The IO devices are connected in the PROFINET ring with system redundancy.
●
The redundant system continues to operate following a cable interruption anywhere in the
PROFINET ring. One of the two communication connections of the IO devices remains. A
SYNCUP is prevented.
