● A monitoring measuring input can only be interconnected with one measuring input on the
input side.
● A monitoring measuring input has no interconnection on the output side.
● An axis TO or an external encoder can be interconnected with more than one measuring
input, including a mixture of measuring inputs and monitoring measuring inputs. Depending
on the hardware (see Chapter More than one measuring input on one axis/encoder (as of
V3.2)), more than one measuring input may be active simultaneously.
● Local measuring inputs (onboard I/O from SINAMICS and C2xx) cannot be used for the
measuring input. Only global measuring inputs can be used (see Hardware for measuring
