5.15 FB 156 Tool life monitoring/prewarning limit
Signal descriptions
BEAR
Machining
This parameter must have a "1" signal during machining with the active tool.
Positive-going edge:
Initiation of tool life processing (recognized only if AKT="0").
Negative-going edge: End of tool life processing; the current values for tool life and
calculated value are stored.
VWG
Prewarning limit
"1" signal:
The prewarning limit is taken into account.
"0" signal:
The prewarning limit is not taken into account.
This input parameter determines whether identification bit 0
"Prewarning limit reached" is set in the second identification DB
(DB 152).
SPER
Disable
"1" signal:
On expiry of the tool life (tool life<=0), the active tool is
disabled immediately by setting identification bit 10 "Tool
disabled" in the second identification DB (DB 152).
"0" signal:
On expiry of the tool life, identification bit 6 "Disable tool at end
of program" is set in the second identification DB.
A-NR
Job number (Range: 1...4)
If the tool lives of several tools are to be determined simultaneously, FB 156
"STAZ/VWG" is assigned a separate job number for every active tool (e.g. for every
spindle, every turret).
MANR
Magazine number (Range: 0...16 for SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2 and 1...4 for
SINUMERIK 840/840C)
Specification of the number of the magazine containing the data of the active tool.
MANR = 0:
Refers to a spindle; the data are stored in the tool buffer.
MANR = 1...16:
Refers to a turret; the data are stored in the specified magazine
(in the case of SINUMERIK 840/840C, only MANR = 1...4 is
permissible).
PLSP
Location/spindle
Locator number
(if MANR = 1...16 for SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2 and
1...4 for SINUMERIK 840/840C)
Spindle number
(if MANR = 0) spindle number 1 or 2 only
NSBY
Interface byte
Data word address of the interface byte of DB 36 for transmitting data NC
PLC via
FB 61/62.
SPNR
Memory number
(Range: 8 to max. number of P memories (MD13) minus 1)
SPNR = 8...14:
The tool data are stored in two consecutive P memories in the
NC. The number corresponds to the first P memory.
Example:
SPNR=11:
The P memories P11 and P12 are assigned
P x
=
Tool life
P x+1
=
Prewarning limit
K
Time weighting factor
(Range: 1...99, format: fixed-point)
Down-counting of tool life in minutes every k
