Generate exchange list of missing tools (milling version)
for SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2 and package 2 only
Description
The exchange list can only be generated for systems with only one active magazine (if neces-
sary, with several chained background magazines).
The "Exchange list, list of missing tools" FB is used for evaluating the T and H functions loa-
ded in accordance with the leader of the part program.
At the start of the machining program, the "Tool is required", "Tool is required several times"
and "Tool already used" identification bits are deleted in all chained magazines, starting at the
initialized active magazine.
The tool is then searched for according to its T number. The following search sequence is ad-
hered to:
1. Search for the active tool in the active magazine;
2. Search for the active tool in the background magazine;
3. Search for the active tool in the tool buffer;
4. Search for the replacement tool in the active magazine;
5. Search for the replacement tool in the background magazine;
6. Search for the replacement tool in the tool buffer.
The search routines 2 to 6 are initiated if the previous search was not successful.
If the tool is found it is marked with the"Tool is required" identification bit. Additionally, the tool
can be assigned the "Tool is required several times" identification bit if the H function was pro-
grammed accordingly in the leader of the part program. No entry is made in the exchange list
or the list of the missing tools.
When a tool is found (search routines 2 or 4) in the background magazine (several chained
background magazines are also possible), it is entered in the exchange list.
The identifications stored in the lists are assigned to the inserted tool when the tool is inserted
into the active magazine from the background magazine.
The exchange list initiates a tool exchange between the background magazine and the active
magazine.
The list of missing tools informs the user of the missing tools. (i.e. tools not included in the ac-
tive magazine or the chained background magazines).
