Tool search
If a T and/or H function is called in the NC part program, the respective value is entered in
data words DW 63 to DW 69 of the corresponding channel DB.
In the case of SINUMERIK 840, software version 1 onwards, this function is implemented by
the basic package, in previous versions it is implemented by the tool management.
In the case of SINUMERIK 840C, software version 1 onwards, this function is implemented by
the basic package, in previous versions it is implemented out by the tool management.
In the case of SINUMERIK 880, software versions 4/5 and 6, as well as SINUMERIK 880 GA2,
this function is implemented by the basic package.
The search through the magazine is initiated by the "T word is valid" signal.
Depending on machine data 7013, bit 1 (for PLC 1, for the other PLCs accordingly, cf.
