2.2.6
Unloading via tape (SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2 only)
As from version 03 of the tool management it is possible to back up tool data on tape. This is
required when, for example, a back-up of the magazine assignment has to be made before
machine setup, or when the data has to be saved for individual tools which are to be unloaded.
The function required can be selected in a configured display (see also operating examples).
The data concerned are read via a PLC function block (FB120) and an NC cycle (L947) and
entered into R parameters with which a loading program is then generated. The data can be
deleted from the magazine table and the tool offset memory with the command "Delete
location" or "Delete magazine".
2.2.7
Simulation (SINUMERIK 880/880 GA2 only)
In order to simulate a part program it must be possible to access the tool offsets.
The channels in which the simulation results are to be entered are specified in NC machine
data MD251 or MD252: simulation channel 17 enters its results in the channel which is defined
in MD251, simulation channel 18 enters its results in the channel which is defined in MD252.
FX 7 is triggered by the T call in the channel defined in MD251. FX 7 searches the magazine
table and enters the located D numbers in the R parameters of the channel defined in MD251.
