Signal descriptions
An overview of possible parameter assignments is provided on page 5-6, ”Possible parameter
assignments”.
ST
Start signal
T-NR
Tool number of the tool to be searched for
(optional)
DUNR
Duplo No. of the tool to be searched for
(optional and only in connection with the T No.)
MAGA
Number of the magazine, from where the tool is searched for.
MAGE
Number of the last magazine where the tool is searched for.
PLAA
Magazine location where the search starts.
This applies to all magazines specified in the parameters MAGA und MAGE. If the
magazine specified is a chain magazine, the specifications of the start and end of the
individual locations are not evaluated. In this case, the search routine utilizes the
current actual position that is expected in data word 76 of the channel DB (DB10 to
25) valid for the magazine.
PLAE
Last magazine location where the tool is searched for.
Marginal conditions as described under PLAA.
SURI
Search direction
In this parameter, the direction in which the magazine(s) and the locations selected
is/are searched is to be specified. The search directions ”Forwards”, ”Backwards”
and ”Symmetrical” are available. Symmetrical search is only possible for chain
magazines (MD bit 11 = 1). If the parameter has a blank as default, the search
direction entered in machine data bit No. 10 of the respective magazine is used. If an
error is detected in the parameter assignment, the "Forwards" search direction is
defined automatically.
KEN1
Tool size
(optional, e.g. KH0011 for tool size 11)
KEN2
Tool identifiers
MAS2
Screen form for the tool identifiers
AW-1
First user DB
(optional)
AWM1
Screen form for first user DB
PRGK
Number of the internal program channel active in the current search operation
When a search operation is called for the first time, this parameter must be deleted.
The allocation of the program channel is carried out by the FB 111 itself and must be
provided by the user for all other FB calls, with respect to the current search
operation.
MANR
Magazine number
This parameter specifies the magazine where the tool was found.
PLNR
Locator number
This parameter specifies the location where the tool was found in the "MANR"
magazine.
GEF
Search key found
If the search key was found in the specified search area, the parameter "GEF" has a
"1" signal for the duration of one PLC cycle. (For unconditional processing only; in
the case of a conditional call, the signal remains in the "1" state until the next search
job is initiated).
