5 Configuration
11.92
5.3 FB 112 Search for empty location without presetting
SURI
Search direction
In this parameter, the direction in which the magazine(s) and the locations selected
are searched is to be specified. The search directions ”Forwards” and ”Backwards”
are available. If the search direction is defined incorrectly or not at all (e.g.
"SURI"=' ') the search direction "Forwards" is defined internally.
Permissible search directions =
'V' : Forwards
'R' : Backwards
'S' : Symmetrical
IPOS
Actual position
(Override prefix for the actual position in the submagazine-specific user interface.)
Specification of the current actual position of the magazine where the search starts.
The actual position is evaluated only in the case of linear magazines. The block then
evaluates the submagazine- specific machine data bit 11, DB 64 (see Section 2.1.2).
The actual position is expected in parameter "IPOS". If the parameter is not defined,
i.e. "IPOS" = 0, data word DW 76 of the submagazine-specific user interface of the
current channel DB (DB 10 to DB 25) is evaluated. In both cases, the actual position
must be within the magazine limits. If the actual position is outside the magazine
limits, the middle of the magazine is defined as the actual position.
PRGK
Number of the internal program channel active in the current search operation
When a search operation is called for the first time, this parameter must be cleared.
The allocation of the program channel is carried out by FB 111 itself and must be
provided by the user for all other FB calls, with respect to the current search
operation.
MANR
Magazine number
This parameter specifies the magazine where the empty location(s) was/were found.
PLNR
Locator number
This parameter specifies the locator No. of the empty location found for the required
tool size in the magazine "MANR".
GEF
Found
If an empty location has been found for the required tool size within the specified
search area, the GEF parameter has a "1" signal for the duration of one PLC cycle.
(For unconditional processing only; in the case of a conditional call, the signal
remains in the "1" state until the next search job is initiated).
SUVL
Search operation active
The SUVL parameter has a "1" signal as long as the search operation is active.
F
Error
The parameter has a "1" signal for the duration of one cycle if an error has been
found during initialization of the block. (For unconditional processing only; in the case
of a conditional call, the signal remains in the "1" state until the next search job is
initiated.)
NGEF
Not found
If the search key has not been found, the parameter NGEF has a "1" signal for the
duration of one PLC cycle. (For unconditional processing only; in the case of a
conditional call, the signal remains in the "1" state until the next search job is
initiated.
