Additional parameters
Operating principle
The soft starter has additional parameters.
Setting options
The parameterization is possible by the following methods:

3RW5 HMI High Feature
Access protection to 3RW5 HMI High Feature is not active or has been reset.
Menu: "Parameters > Soft Starter > Additional parameters"

Typical ambient temperature
(by means of
3RW5 HMI High Feature only)
The 3RW50 soft starter is set to the typical ambient temperature actually prevailing in
the plant. Ensure that the set typical ambient temperature is not exceeded.

Test with small load
The control and main circuit wiring is tested on a small load using a test motor. A
direction of rotation test can be performed by monitoring the motor shaft or the load
connected to it.
