Further steps:
−
Make sure the Ethernet cable is plugged in correctly at the web server,
switch/router.
−
Make sure the Ethernet cable for direct connection of the OZW to the PC/laptop is
a crossed cable.
−
Make sure the cable to connect to the switch/router is a straight Ethernet cable.
−
Make sure the switch/router are turned on (power on).
Are the LEDs on the Ethernet card OZZ7E5 lit?
•
Orange LED: Connection status (link).
LED is lit if the web server is integrated correctly (physically) in the network.
•
Green LED: Send/receive (activity indication).
LED is blinking when the web server sends or receives data.
Is Ethernet TCP/IP configured correctly?
•
Check the IP address, IP subnetwork address (subnet mask), default gateway, and
DNS server in the menu tree.
Command sequence: Settings > Communication > Ethernet.
Is routing outside the LAN correct?
•
Check using the PC/laptop on the same network by entering the following ping:
−
tracert <IP address web server>
or
tracert <Domain Web Server>
Do the security settings (firewall) allow for the connection?
•
Clarify firewall issues with the network administrator and ISP
(briefly deactivate the firewall as needed and check the connection).
