5.3.3 Modem message interval
Do not confuse "Current repetition interval" with "Modem message interval". Data point
"Modem message interval" applies to all message receivers connected to a modem.
At data point "Modem message interval", set the time for modem connection that the
central communication unit must wait after a connection was aborted before it can
reestablish connection. This time ensures that the central communication unit can be
called by modem between 2 connections (e.g. from an external operator station).
The following process results at a modem message interval of 2 minutes, if several
message receivers are parameterized for the same messages and if the messages are
to be sent via modem interface:

The message receiver that sends the pending message(s) is selected at random and
depends on internal processes at the central communication unit.
However, all 4 message receivers can send within 8 minutes. "Current repetition
interval" applies for unsent messages until the message receiver can send its message.
