Analog value processing
Analog values can be preprocessed on the TIM according to various methods, see
section Analog value preprocessing (Page 119).

Online functions
From an engineering station (ES) on which STEP 7 is installed, you can use the online
functions of STEP 7 via an Ethernet interface of the TIM to access the S7 CPU if the
station is located in the same IP subnet.
The following online functions are available:

Downloading project or program data from the STEP 7 project to the station

Querying diagnostics data on the station

Downloading firmware files to the TIM

SNMP
As an SNMP agent, the TIM supports data queries using SNMPv1 and SNMPv3 (Simple
Network Management Protocol).
