Before washing for the first
time
The washing machine was thoroughly
tested before leaving the factory. To
remove any water that may be left over
from the test, run the first wash cycle
without
any laundry.
Notes
■
The washing machine must be
correctly installed and connected.
Installation and connection
■
Never use a damaged washing
machine. Inform your customer
services.
1.
Check the washing machine.
2.
Connect the mains plug.
3.
Turn on the tap.
4.
Switch on the appliance.
5.
Close the door (do not load any
washing).
6.
Set the Cottons 90 °C programme.
7.
Open the detergent drawer.
8.
Pour approx. 1 litre of water into
dispenser

9.
Add standard detergent to
dispenser
II
according
to manufacturer’s instructions for
light soiling.
Note:
To prevent frothing, use only
half the recommended amount of
detergent. Do not use detergents
designed for woollens or delicates.
10.
Close the detergent drawer.
11.
Select the Start button.
12.
At the end of the programme set the
programme selector to the “Off”
position.
Your washing machine is now ready to
use.
Transportation
Preparatory work
1.
Turn off the tap.
2.
Reduce the water pressure in the
supply hose. Cleaning and
maintenance – Clean the water inlet
3.
Drain the remaining detergent
solution. Cleaning and maintenance
– Drain pump blocked
4.
Disconnect the washing machine
from the mains.
5.
Remove the hoses.
Fitting the transportation braces:
1.
Remove the covers and keep in a
safe place.
If required, use a screwdriver.
2.
Insert all four sleeves.
Clamp the mains lead on the
holders. Insert and tighten the
screws.
