A LISTED, 4" M INIM UM  TYPE "L" PELLET VENT PIPE
IS M ANDATORY ON ALL INSTALLATIONS.

DO NO T INSTALL A FLUE DAM PER IN THE EXHAUST
VENTING SYSTEM  OF THIS UNIT, DO NOT CONNECT
THIS UNIT TO  A CHIM NEY FLUE SERVING ANOTHER
APPLIANCE.

Use only listed 4" m inim um  Type "L" pellet vent and
com ponents for installation. The exhaust vent system
m ust be attached to the unit and to each adjoining section.
All joints for connector pipe shall be fastened with at least
three screws. If vented horizontally, joints shall be m ade
gas-tight by sealing with high tem perature silicon or
m aterial specified by vent pipe m anufacturer. Failure to
use listed pellet vent pipe or install it per m anufacturers
instructions will void your warranty.

INSTALL VENT AT CLEARANCES SPECIFIED BY THE
VENT MANUFACTURER

Vent Pipes’ inner and outer diameters may vary. Check
with vent pipe manufacturer for further details.

W ARNING: Installation of a M obile Hom e Attachm ent Kit
P/N 10412 and outside com bustion air is mandatory in
m obile or modular hom e installations

 although it m ay

also be used in all residential applications.

An outside air inlet M UST be provided for combustion
and ventilation air.

The air inlet m ust rem ain unrestricted

while unit is in use.  Outside air connection is located in the
rear of the heater (

). Use conduit pipe or m etal flex

pipe and/or fittings to m ake the air intake hook-up.

CAUTION: STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE M OBILE
HOM E FLOOR, W ALLS AND CEILING/ROO F M UST BE
M AINTAINED.

1.

W hen deciding on the location of your heater and vent

structural com ponents of the building.

Vent pipe m ust

be installed so that access is provided for
inspection and cleaning

.

2.

Avoid installing heater in high traffic areas. Keep
children well away from  the heater when in operation.

3.

A 3" clearance to com bustibles must be m aintained

for horizontal and vertical venting. W hen passing

A non-com bustible hearth pad must be used if
installed on a carpet, w ood floor or other com busti-

order to rem ove fly ash accum ulation.

6.

Exit termination (distance to openings):

a.

3 ft. m inim um  above any forced air inlet located
within 10 ft.

b.

4 ft. m inim um  below and horizontally or 1 ft. m inim um
above any door, window or gravity air inlet into any
building.

PELLET HEATERS REQUIRE A MINIMUM 5' VERTICAL
RISE FOR PROPER O PERATION. ADDITIONAL RISE
