The machine can be switched on simply by moving
the display unit disconnection switch (1) to the “I”
“ON” position and pressing the ON/OFF button
(pos. 2).
If necessary, press the display unit light button
(pos. 3).
3.3 INDICATOR LIGHTS (Fig. 25a)
LIGHT (pos. 9)
- indicator lit when the display unit light is on.
ALARM (pos. 10)
- indicator lit for alarm active and flashing for alarm
silenced.
FANS (pos. 11)
- indicator lit for fan in operation.
DEFROSTING (pos. 12)
- indicator lit for defrosting in progress; flashing for
manual activation.
COMPRESSOR OR RELAY (pos. 13)
- indicator lit for compressor active; flashing in the
event of a delay, protection or locked activation.
3.4 TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
- Press the SET button (Fig. 24a, pos. 4) and hold
for 2 seconds; then, within 3 seconds press the UP
(Fig. 24a, pos. 6) or DOWN (Fig. 24a, pos. 7) button
in order to increase or decrease the temperature,
until the desired value is reached.
- Wait for approximately 10 seconds; the instrument
will automatically memorise the set value and the
display will show the temperature value. Alternatively,
press the SET button again.
3 OPERATING THE EQUIPMENT
PASTRY DISPLAY UNIT VERSION
3.1 PRELIMINARY CHECKS
CAUTION!
Make sure that the main switch for the electronic
control unit is in the “0” - OFF position before
starting display unit operation.
3.2 START-UP
- Remove all protective material.
- Make sure that the display unit is clean and
thoroughly disinfected (see PART 4 “ROUTINE
MAINTENANCE”).
ATTENTION!
After the refrigeration function has been
started, wait for approximately 60 minutes
before placing the food inside the display
unit, so that the operating temperature has
time to stabilise.
Use the display unit control assembly, which includes
(Fig. 24a):
- DISPLAY UNIT DISCONNECTION SWITCH (pos.
1);
- ON/OFF BUTTON (pos. 2);
- LIGHT BUTTON (pos. 3);
- SET TEMPERATURE BUTTON (pos. 4);
- MENU ACCESS BUTTON (pos. 5);
- INCREASE TEMPERATURE BUTTON (pos. 6);
- DECREASE TEMPERATURE BUTTON (pos. 7);
- LIGHT-UP DISPLAY (pos. 8).
