VPC Accessory with Analog Cable
The
(PN: 421-0062-00) includes a VPC adapter, a bifurcated cable with
USB-A for power and control, and BNC video connectors.

9.4
Configuration Settings
1.
Configure analog and USB output:
a.
Connect the USB analog cable to the SLA-3000-AB board and VPC accessory USB port. Make
sure the LED on the back of the Boson camera turns blue.
b.
Open the FLIR Boson application. In this example it is V1.4.4.
c.
Configure the 3000-OEM for analog input and network streaming to display analog.
d.
Select the COM port that matches the USB Port. In this example it is
COM3.
This COM port will
be automatically created when the USB is plugged in.
e.
Verify a connection is established in the
Boson Link
status.
During this process it is possible that the COM port will close, and commands will not reach the
camera. If the following error displays - Attempting to access closed COM port - click the Connection
Reset button on the GUI.

Configure USB Video to the PC:
a.
In
Device Select

. Video displays on the PC in
the FLIR Boson application as shown in
Figure 23.
