Sweep
Sweep is a special frequency modulation (FM). When the frequency sweep is turned
on, the carrier output frequency changes according to the sweep type (linear /
logarithmic) and can be controlled by the trigger signal.

Description
Linear
Its frequency changes linearly from the starting frequency to the
ending frequency in the sweep cycle.
Log
The frequency variation follows the 10
x
law, which is often used in
frequency response test. The frequency response is generally
plotted in logarithmic coordinates (10 octave frequency).
Therefore, in order to see the uniform sample distribution on the
logarithmic coordinate diagram, logarithmic frequency sweep is
required.
