Sound Settings
Sound Settings allows you to optimise the sound output quality of your TV. Select Sound and press the
OK
button
to enter the Sound Settings menu (see page 25 for details on how to use the menu).

Adjust
Sound Mode
Adjusts sound modes to match desired user
preference: Standard, Movie, Music, Sports
and Personal.
Treble
Adjusts the relative intensity of higher
pitched sounds.
Bass
Adjusts the relative intensity of lower
pitched sounds.
Balance
Adjusts the balance of the left and right
speaker. You can also independently turn off
the volume of the left or right speaker.
Auto Volume
Enables you to apply moderate sound
control to avoid sudden volume increases
when switching between broadcast channels
or during commercials. When it is turned
'On', unexpected volume increases in the
sound modulation are decreased.
Surround Sound
Choose from SRS TruSurround,
TruSurround and Off.
SPDIF
Transmits digital audio to an external audio
system. Choose from PCM or Auto.
PCM: PCM outputs two channel audio
regardless of the input format.
Auto: Selects the digital audio output
format.
AD Switch
In Digital TV operation, you can adjust
audio description (AD) settings and volume
for the visual impaired.
Press the
OK
button to enter and then press
/ to select the AD Switch to be On or
Off. When set to On, you can press /
to select AD Switch and use / button to
adjust the volume then push
EXIT
button.
NOTE:
This option is only available on
the programme which provides "AD" in the
programme summary.
