Guarantee
We guarantee the durability of the
ceramic Silargan® surface for 30 years
from the date of purchase (provided
that the cookware is used under nor-
mal, domestic conditions and as in-
tended). The lid, handles and chrome
pouring rim are excluded from the
guarantee, as these parts do not have
a ceramic Silargan® surface.
Under the terms of the guarantee,
we will exchange parts with a de-
fective Silargan® surface for perfect
parts within the guarantee period.
A Silargan® surface is not deemed
defective if it merely exhibits normal
signs of wear and tear such as cutting
and scratch marks, etc., which are of
a purely visual nature; such signs of
wear and tear are not covered by the
guarantee.
Provided that this model is still in-
cluded in the product range, the de-
fective part will be replaced by a part
from the same model. If the model is
no longer included in the Silit product
range, the defective part will be re-
placed by a similar product within
the current Silit product range.
Exclusions from the guarantee
The guarantee does not cover damage
caused by the following: Failure to
observe the instructions for use and
care contained in these instructions
for use, overheating, inappropriate or
improper use, incorrect or negligent
handling (e.g. cleaning with abrasive
products), any kind of forceful im-
pact (e.g. falling onto a fl oor, a blow),
mechanical, chemical or physical
damage to the surface resulting from
incorrect use.
