- For special maintenance and repairs use only original spare parts. For all repairs, please refer to the After-Sales Service
authorised by the supplier of the machine. The user of the machine is the only responsible for its good and safe operation, if
the machine was not repaired or maintained by the specialized or authorised personnel. Before carrying out all these
operations, ensure the current supply is cut off.
- All the operators using the machine shall be trained on its correct use, the protection devices and the tools - accessories
supplied with the machine.
-The machine is delivered with the protection devices already installed and fixed. Check and maintain these protection
devices and the machine according to the maintenance schedule. The operator shall be cautious in using the machine when
the drum and the bucket are moving and when approaching with his hands, and particularly:
-
DO NEVER TURN ON THE MACHINE WITHOUT THE PROTECTION SHIELDS;

- Dispose of all waste materials through specialised companies in accordance with current laws in the country of use.
Materials must be differentiated.
- The operator shall wear appropriate clothing: work gloves, protective helmet, safety shoes, and respiratory protection. Do
not wear any jewellery or clothing that can get caught or distract from the operation of the machine.
Before starting work and turning on the machine, CHECK:
- the work area (1000 mm all around the machine) for any persons or obstacles.
- ensure the electric cable is stretched and completely rolled out.
- Follow the safety precautions, in particular:
- Turn off the machine before opening or cleaning it; ensure no one can turn it on by accident;
- Use the protective equipment (work gloves, ear muffs, safety shoes, respiratory protection) during use, assembly and
maintenance of the machine;
- Be cautious in approaching all the moving parts.
- Be cautious in approaching high voltage elements, hazard of electrocution (components like motors and switchboard).

CHARACTERISTICS

Description of the machine
The concrete mixers of series BB are designed,
manufactured, tested and sold by the company Silla. These machines are designed for preparing and
mixing concrete: sand, pebble gravel, cement and water for use on construction sites only. The main
feature of these machines is their simple and rapid setting at work and safe use.
The machine is equipped with:
- electric installation with electric plug, control panel with START and STOP commands, electric connections, electric motor.
The power is transmitted from the motor to the drum by means of driving belts and reduction with pulley.
By unlocking the tilting flywheel by means of the pedal, the drum can be positioned for unloading or mixing.
There are also some manual operations to be done by the operator. He must load the drum, positioned in loading position,
with sand, pebble gravel, or cement in the desired quantity.
Successively, after mixing, he can upload the mixed product in a crane bucket or similar and tilt the drum by pressing the
pedal and turning the flywheel.
The mixers are made of:
Machine frame
Tilting flywheel
wheels and drawbar for displacements on construction site
Motor protection cabin
Tilting drum
Control panel
Pinion and gear
protection nets for accident prevention

Environmental machine operating conditions:
For the continued use of the machine on construction site, there must be a solid platform above against falling loads. The
machines are designed and built to operate at a maximum altitude of 1000 m asl.
Temperature between 5°C and 40°C. Humidity up to 90% for temperature 20°C.
