AFTER MAINTENANCE, ALWAYS REATTACH ALL THE GUARDS YOU HAVE REMOVED AND CHECK
THE OPERATION OF THE SAFETY DEVICES BEFORE BEGINNING OPERATION!
5.4.1 Adjustments of the cutting and splitting device and in-feed conveyor
Incorrectly adjusted saw valve control may cause hazardous situations as the saw or in-feed conveyor
may, for example, keep running or heat the hydraulic oil excessively. Always check the following
adjustment in conjunction with the monthly maintenance and tighten the return spring.
A. Saw valve control. When the sawing handle is
in the neutral position, the control is in the
horizontal position.
B. The saw valve’s adjustment screw adjusts the
valve to the middle position in the neutral position.
C. The return mechanism returns the saw handle
to the neutral position and prevents the in-feed
conveyor from running when the saw handle is
not held down. Adjust the return mechanism
spring to return the saw handle to the neutral
position.
