Remote Control Of The SILVER Audio Processor 4Bmini
In addition to the front panel LCD control system the SILVER Audio Processor 4Bmini has a serial port and an
Ethernet/LAN port. These allow remote control of the SILVER Audio Processor 4Bmini through a remote application
program running on a window based PC. The remote control program is available for download from www.audemat-
aztec.com.
The SILVER Audio Processor 4Bmini can only to talk to the serial system (RS232) or the Ethernet/LAN system at any
point in time so you will need to select which one of the two remote control methods you wish to use by selecting the
appropriate option from the remote source parameter which is contained in the system menu accessible from the
SILVER Audio Processor 4Bmini’s front panel.
If connecting via an Ethernet connection you will need to set the IP address or Hostname that the SILVER Audio
Processor 4Bmini is connected at and also include the PORT number that the SILVER Audio Processor 4Bmini has
been set to use. The default port that AUDEMAT-AZTEC uses is 1203. You can leave it as is unless you have a
reason to change it. Your network administrator can help you with this.
