Prior to use
Remove the solar panel (A) and the accessories from the packaging.
You can now unfold the solar panel (A) and align it with the sun. You have the following options:
Hang the solar panel (A) vertically. Use two eyelets (1) that are close to each other.
Hang the solar panel (A) horizontally. Use two eyelets (1) that are distant from each other, but
not the diagonally opposite eyelets (1).
Place the solar panel (A) on a flat surface.
Always ensure that the solar cells (2) are faced towards the sun.
Avoid the overheating of devices to be charged by direct sunlight:
If the device is in the pouch (3), close it so that it is facing away from the
sun.
If you charge a device which is not in the pouch (3), place it in a shaded
area or cover it.
If you are not using the solar panel, fold it up and close it with the Velcro fastener (4). The solar
cells (2) are thus protected against mechanical impact and the solar panel can be easily
transported.
Charging with the solar panel (A)
Please note that the output power that can be generated by the solar panel when
used indoors is reduced due to the filter effect of glass panes.
Note that the maximum ambient temperature of +45°C must not be exceeded. You
must pay particular attention to this point when using the solar panel inside a motor
vehicle.
