Before first use
Please follow the instructions
below before first use to prevent harm to the health:
Stand on a dry, non-conductive surface. Risk of
electric shock!
Ensure your hands are dry! Risk of electric shock!
Be sure your hair is dry! Risk of electric shock!
The barrels

on the curling iron can become
very hot. Only touch the curling iron by the
handle

Switch the product off immediately if defective
or if malfunctions occur, and unplug from the

Untangle the power cord

and do not pull or run it across sharp, pointy
objects or hot surfaces.

Operation
Dry your hair completely before using the
curling iron.
Be sure your hair is clean and has no styling
products in it. This excludes thermal protection
hair products.
Comb your hair to untangle.
Plug into a suitable outlet, the LCD temperature
indicator

will show „OFF“.
Press the ON/OFF button

to turn the curler
on. The LCD temperature display

will show
the current temperature setting. The LCD tem-
perature display

will flash while the curling
iron is heating up. When the curling iron
reaches the temperature setting, the
temperature will stop flashing and the curling
iron is ready to use.
Use the + button

or the – button

to set the
desired temperature. The LCD temperature dis-
play

shows the current temperature setting.
Press the ON / OFF switch

twice to save
the temperature setting. The Lock symbol will
appear in the LCD temperature display

Note:
The curling iron has an automatic key-
lock which will automatically activate after
30 seconds. The curling iron cannot be
switched off until the keylock has been disabled.
To unlock, press the ON / OFF button

twice
again. The Lock symbol will disappear.
We recommend the following tempera-
ture settings:
Temperature
Hair type
100 °C to 140 °C
Fine, brittle, coloured
or bleached hair
140 °C to 160 °C
Normal hair
160 °C to 180 °C
Strong, resilient hair
Divide the hair into
sections approx. two
centimetres wide.
Hold the section
tight by the tips.
Carefully insert the
section of hair into the
opening between the
two metal pieces
