Operation
Switching on/off and setting the temperature
Ƈ
Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
Ƈ
Press and hold the ON/OFF button
for approx. 1 second to switch on
the appliance.

When you use the appliance for the first time:
Use the

buttons
/
to set the maximum temperature of 210°C for
a few minutes. The set temperature starts flashing on the LED display
. As
soon as the selected temperature is reached, the LED display
lights up
permanently.
The first time the appliance heats up, a small amount of smoke and smell
may be generated: this is caused by production residues. This is normal and
is completely harmless. Ensure adequate ventilation of the room.

Use the

to set a temperature between 120 and 210°C
in 10°C increments. The set temperature starts flashing on the LED display
.
As soon as the selected temperature is reached, the LED display
lights up
permanently.
Ƈ
When you have finished styling your hair, turn off the appliance by pressing
the ON/OFF button
for approx. 1 second. Then disconnect the mains
plug. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing it.
Selecting the right temperature
Type of hair
Recommended temperature
bleached/lightened hair
120–140 °C
fine and colour-treated hair
130–150 °C
normal to thick, untreated hair
150–210 °C
Always start at the lowest temperature recommended for your hair type.
If required, raise the temperature in small steps to reach the optimum temperature
setting.
