8. Cleaning
Risk of electric shock!
Always remove the plug from the power socket before cleaning
the hair straightener.
Never immerse the hair straightener in water or any other liquid during cleaning.
Warning of damage to property!
Do not use any scratching or abrasive cleaning
agents or abrasive objects (such as a metal scourer) for cleaning purposes. Failure to do so
may cause the hair straightener to become damaged.
Risk of injury!
Let the hair straightener cool off before cleaning it. Failure to do so poses a
risk of burn injuries.
Clean the housing of the hair straightener and the plates (5) with a damp cloth.
You can also add a mild cleaning agent to the cloth to get rid of stubborn soiling.
Afterwards, remove cleaning agent residue with a cloth that has only been dampened with water.
Thoroughly dry the hair straightener after cleaning.
Only use the hair straightener again once it has fully dried.
9. Storing the device when not in use
After using the hair straightener, allow it to cool off on a heat-resistant surface.
You can use the hang-up loop (4) to hang up the hair straightener when it is not in use.
If the hair straightener is not going to be used for a long period of time, clean it as described in the
‘Cleaning’ section. Store the hair straightener in a clean, dry location out of reach of children.
10. Troubleshooting

working through the following tips does not eliminate the fault, please contact our hotline (see the
‘Warranty information’ section).
The hair straightener is not working
The plug is not inserted. Insert the plug into a power socket.
The power socket is faulty. Try the hair straightener in another power socket that you know definitely
works.
