NOTE
The green control lamp “Ready”
also lights up when the heat level control
is set to “MIN” or lower. As soon as you set the heat level control
to the
desired position, the green "Ready" control lamp
goes out until the tempera-
ture has been reached.
NOTE
The green "Ready" control lamp
may go out intermittently in the meantime
and the red "Power" control lamp
lights up. This indicates that the temperature
has briefly fallen below the set temperature and the appliance is heating itself
back up.
♦
Open the lid and place the food to be toasted/grilled on the lower hotplate
.
♦
Close the appliance lid using the handle
.
♦
Due to the sliding hinges fitted to the upper hotplate
, it always lies parallel
to the lower hotplate
even with large quantities of food. This guarantees an
optimal grilling result.
♦
Check the browning of the food after a while. To do this, open the appliance
lid using the handle
.
NOTE
Start with short grilling times and increase these until you have found the cor-
rect duration.
♦
When you are satisfied with the level of browning, remove the food.
CAUTION
Damage to the appliance!
►
Do not use pointed or sharp objects to remove the food. These could dam-
age the surfaces of the hotplates
!
♦
Turn the heat level control
to the left stop and remove the plug from the mains
power socket.
CAUTION
►
Always remove the plug from the mains power socket when the appliance is
not in use! It is not sufficient to simply set the heat level control
to the left
stop!
