Charging external devices
The radio alarm clock has a charging function that you can use to
charge the batteries of devices that are usually charged via a USB
connection . The maximum charging current is 1 .0 A .
NOTE

The USB connection

is only intended for charging external
devices .

The charging function is not available during radio operation .
To charge an external device via the USB connection

, the
radio alarm clock must be in standby mode .

The radio alarm clock must be connected to the mains to charge
external devices .
►
You can purchase a suitable USB charging cable (not supplied)
in any consumer electronics shop .

Insert the USBA connector of the USB charging cable into the
USB connection

of the radio alarm clock .

Insert the other USB connector of the USB charging cable into the
USB connection of the external device .

The external device will start charging after a few seconds .

After charging the external device, disconnect the USB charging
cable from the USB connection

disconnect the devices .
