Is the air filter dirty?
Clean air filter.
Carbon deposits in the
cylinder exhaust pipe
or muffler
Clean the pipe and/or
change the muffler.
There is no spark from
the spark plug
Check and or replace
the spark plug
The spark plug gap
is wrong
Adjust the spark
plug gap
Bad quality cut.
Overloaded cutting,
grass too high or too
thick for engine to cut.
Work on small areas.
Organic material
wrapped around the
cutting tool.
Clear the organic
material from the
cutting tool.
