Unpacking Your Tool

•   Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all

its features and functions

•      Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If

any parts are missing or damaged, have such parts replaced before
attempting to use this tool

Before Use

Attaching the air line quick connector

•  Wrap PTFE tape around the thread of the compressor high pressure outlet

NOTE:

Make sure that the tape is pulled tight around the thread to ensure

it forms a tight seal
•  Align the quick connector with the high pressure outlet and screw it on

NOTE:

Ensure that the PTFE tape does not unravel as it is being screwed in

•  Tighten the quick connector in place using the correct size spanner

Wheels & support foot

•  This product is supplied with wheels and a supply foot, which should
be bolted to the mounting bracket/s using the nuts and bolts supplied

Using Your Compressor

Switching on

•  Before turning the compressor on, make sure the Flow Control Lever
  (8) is in the off position (90° to the outlet)
•  Check that the compressor is disconnected from all air tools or air lines
and that on/off switch is pressed down
•  Connect the machine to mains power supply
•  Pull the On/Off Switch (6) upwards. This will start the compressor
•  Allow the compressor to build pressure, the tank pressure is displayed
on the left hand Tank Pressure Gauge (3). When the tank pressure
reaches 8bar (116psi) the motor will stop automatically
•  To switch the compressor off, press the on/off switch down

Connecting air tools

•  Tools can be connected to the High Pressure Outlet (1) using a suitable
air line, fitted with a ¼" bayonet type male connector
•  Included in the box is an Air Line Bayonet Fitting (9) and Hose Clip (10)
with which you can connect your airline
•  Always ensure that air tools are in the 'off' position before connecting.
Tools will be pressurised as soon as the connections are made
•  To connect an air tool, fit air line to tool, then push the bayonet fitting
into the high pressure outlet of the compressor
•  Once connected slowly turn the flow control lever so that it is in line
with the outlet, this will allow the built up pressure to flow to the tool
•  To release the air line, pull back the outer sheath of the high pressure
outlet and pull the bayonet fitting out. Be aware that the air line and
tool will hold residual air pressure

Adjusting line pressure

•  The pressure of the air supplied to the tool (line pressure) can be
adjusted using the Pressure Regulator (2). The line pressure is
displayed on the right hand pressure gauge
•  To increase the line pressure, rotate the pressure regulator clockwise.
To reduce the line pressure, rotate the pressure regulator

 anti-clockwise

Maintenance

WARNING:

Always remove the plug from the mains power supply before

carrying out any maintenance/cleaning.
•  Do not attempt to perform any maintenance when the air tank is
 pressurised

Releasing air pressure

•  If it is necessary to release residual air pressure from the air tank,
disconnect compressor from mains power supply, and pull the ring in
the centre of the Safety Valve (5) outwards
•  Residual air will escape from the valve until the ring is released, or all
  air pressure is released

Draining

•  During use, atmospheric moisture will condense in the air storage tank.
To avoid any corrosion damage, the tank should be drained of moisture
  on a regular basis
•  To drain moisture, open the condensation drain plug, located on the
underside of the tank, approx 3 turns anti-clockwise
•  Allow all moisture to drain and retighten plug

Cleaning

•  Keep your machine clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal

parts to wear quickly, and shorten the machine’s service life. Clean the
body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth. If available, use
clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes

Disposal

•  Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic

equipment, with household waste

•  Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the proper

way to dispose of tools
