IMPORTANT INFORMATION
4.1
Compliance with European regulations
This heat pump is destined for domestic use, in
compliance
with
the
following
European
directives:
Directive on the restriction of the use of certain
hazardous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment 2011/65/EU (RoHS);
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC)
2014/30/EU;
Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU;
Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC.
4.2
Casing protection rating
The appliance protection rating is: IPX4.
4.3
Usage limitations
WARNING: this product has not been
designed for use in, nor should it be
used in, dangerous environments
(potentially explosive atmospheres,
ATEX, or where a higher IP rating than
that of the appliance is required) or for
applications requiring safety features
(fault-tolerant,
fail-safe)
such
as
systems or technology for life support
or in any other context in which the
malfunctioning of an appliance could
lead to death, injury to people or
animals, or serious damage to property
or the environment.
NOTE: if a product fault or failure could
cause damage (to people, animals or
property), a separate functional
surveillance
system
is
required,
equipped with an alarm, so as to
exclude
such
damages.
A
replacement must also be arranged.
4.4
Operating limits
The product is to be used solely for heating hot
water for domestic use, within the specified usage
limitations (section 3.1).
The appliance can be installed and activated for
the specified purpose solely in closed heating
systems that comply with standard EN 12828.
NOTE: the manufacturer declines all
responsibility for any uses of the
appliance other than the one it was
designed for, and for any installation
errors or incorrect use of the appliance.
WARNING: the product must not be
used for purposes other than those
specified. Any other use is to be
considered
incorrect
and
not
permitted.
NOTE: when systems are designed and
built, all local regulations and
provisions in force must be respected.
4.5
Basic safety rules
The product must be used by adults;
Do not open or disassemble the product when
it is connected to the electric power supply;
Do not touch the appliance in bare feet or
with any part of the body wet or damp;
Do not pour or spray water on the product;
Do not climb, sit or rest anything on the
product.
4.6
Information on the refrigerant used
This product contains fluorinated greenhouse
gases included within the Kyoto Protocol. Do not
release these gases into the atmosphere.
Type of refrigerant: HFC-R134a.
NOTE: maintenance and disposal must
only be carried out by qualified
personnel.
