Press the [CLICK] button to start the metronome. The Click indicator lights up.
The metronome will play at the current Time Signature and Tempo (as displayed
in the top left corner of the LCD), and the Beat indicators will blink accordingly.
Use the
[CLICK]
knob to adjust the metronome level. Press the
[CLICK]
button
again to stop the metronome. The Click indicator turns off.
To change the tempo, press the
[TEMPO]
button to enter the Tempo display, and
use the Data Wheel or
[+]/[-]
buttons to adjust the Tempo.
Press the
[EXIT]
button to exit the Tempo display and return to the previous menu.
For more metronome functions (changing metronome parameters such as Time
Signature, Interval, Instrument, etc.,) please refer to the Click section of the
advanced manual.
There are two demonstration songs built into the SD9K.
Press the
[SONG]
and
[MUTE]
buttons simultaneously to enter the DEMO mode.
The first demo song will start playing and the Song indicator will flash.
Use the Data Wheel or
[+]/[-]
buttons to select Demo 1 or Demo 2. Otherwise,
Demo 2 will automatically play after Demo 1.
Demo 1 (Solo) is using only drums and percussion from various Preset Kits.
Demo 2 (Fusion) is using the built-in General MIDI Voices for the backing instruments.
To stop and exit the DEMO mode, press the
[EXIT]
button (or the
[STOP]
button).
Press the
[SONG]
button to enter the SONG mode. The Song indicator lights up.
The display should look like this:
Use the Data Wheel or the
[+]/[-]
buttons to select another song, and/or the
[PAGE]
buttons to quickly skip through song groups (Patterns, Songs, Loops,
User Songs, External Song).
An icon in the right corner of the LCD shows the type of song:
• Loop mode song
• One Shot mode song
• Empty User song
• External song
