REMOVING DEVICES
REMOVING DEVICES FROM OWN NETWORK
If HUB iO is the Master Controller (SIS) or a Primary Controller (PC) You are able to delete devices failed, Simon iO or
other HUB iO network devices. On MENU > IOs > Devices > Moving the device to the left and pressing the “X” red
icon.
After one device is removed, HUB iO will remove this node from All devices with associations where this device was
involved.
-
If your APP displays a device that has already been
removed manually from HUB iO network, you will be
informed with a “warning” icon. If you remove it
from your Simon 100 iO APP HUB iO will not
perform any action, this device will be removed
from the APP database and if this device was
associated to other network features APP will
process the required changes.
-
If you are trying to remove an active device:
a) If it is a Simon Device, HUB iO Will send a Reset
to default command (Configuration Set with
command reset) and will remove the device from
the network 5 minutes, testing the device status
prior to remove. In that case the device will not be
automatically removed from Z-Wave network but
will be removed from APP database.
NOTE:
This process can cause many messages
transmitted from HUB iO. It is normal to suffer
some delays during few moments 5 minutes
after a removing process
b) If it is not a Simon Device, Hub iO will start an
Exclusion process in order to remove it. If it success
device will be removed from the APP and HUB iO
Network.
