Safety Instructions:
Open Fire! Risk of burning!
Use fire retardant gloves & Blacksmith Tong while working (forging) with the work piece
Wear clothes that are appropriate for this activity as for example a leathern apron.
When manipulating hot work pieces be careful not to get in touch with persons or objects.
Casing of the forge oven is getting hot while in operation – Do not touch.
The forge oven may only be used by persons that have been instructed in hand crafted
forging.
Do not store or use any inflammable fluids or gases near by the forge oven.
Keep a fire extinguisher ready for use nearby.
For starting the forge oven do only use the gas lighter / piezo igniter.
While igniting /firing the forge with lighter please see to it that no body parts of anyone is
exposed to the any door / opening of the forge.
The forge must only be used in proper air ventilated environment, preferable outdoor or with a correct smoke
evacuation system!
Wear goggles while watching fire of the forge.
Propane gas must be tapped from the top of the cylinder.
