TFX-500M/800M Functions
The functions available to you on the AUTOCALL TFX-500M or AUTOCALL TFX-800M control panel will depend upon
your passcode level (see “Access Levels,”Section 2.3.1). The system is usually in the “Standby”mode (displaying the
date and time). Entering a passcode gives the user access to the Main Menu shown in Figure 3.1.

3.1. Main Menu
If there are any outstanding (unaccepted) events (alarms or faults) present in the system, the system may be in the ”View
Outstanding Events”mode, rather than in the “Standby”mode. In the “View Outstanding Events”mode, the display will
respond with a message similar to this example showing zone message and point identification:

Before you access the main menu, you should accept these events. However, it is possible to access menu steps directly
by means of the Fast Access Codes (see Table 3--1
for Fast Access Codes). But, if you use the fast access code, the
menu will always return to the “Accept Events”menu step if you attempt to quit while there are outstanding (unaccepted)
events remaining.
