10.8 Preventive maintenance
Surface cleaning
– to keep the CP33 cabinet and display screen clean, wipe
the surfaces with a clean damp cloth. For heavier cleaning, use a clean, damp
cloth which has been dipped in a solution of a mild dish detergent and water.
Wring out firmly before wiping the unit.
Never use cleaning solutions containing spirit or alcohol.
Electrical connections
– periodically check the electrical connections. Make
sure that connections are tight and that no cables are frayed or worn.
10.9 Repair and service
The CP33 is sealed and does not contain any user serviceable parts. Opening
of this unit will void its warranty. If the CP33 requires servicing or repair, call
your authorized SIMRAD dealer, but first check section 10.10 Troubleshoot-
ing.
Spare parts
– fuses may be bought from a chandler or a marine supply store.
Use only fuses specified for this unit – see 10.11 Specifications.
