SERVICING THE EQ 55 AIR FILTER
The EQ 55 air filter should be cleaned once each month under normal operating
conditions. If operating in a dusty or dirty environment, cleaning every 24 hours
may be necessary to avoid restricting the passage of cooling air through the EQ 55.
The EQ 55 fan cooling system is designed to draw air in through the filter, pass it
throughout the EQ 55, and exhaust through the vent slots in the bottom of the
case.
To clean the EQ 55 air filter, remove power from the unit. With the rear of the EQ
55 facing you, remove the fan shroud. You can now see the filter and the filter
frame which holds it in place. The filter can be removed by lifting each side away
from the fan housing.
Wash the filter thoroughly in water and wring dry. Allow to air dry
thoroughly
.
Reinstall by reversing the removal process. Ensure that the fan shroud is snapped
securely in place.
