Exporting sensor data
If you have third-party software that requires sensor data, then set up sensor data exporting.
Prerequisites
The Sonar Head must be running to do this procedure. If not, the
Sensor Export
icon will
be greyed out.
Context
The
Sensor Export
dialog box allows you to control the properties of each available
communication channel providing output from the FM90 Processor Unit, and to select
which data to export.
Procedure

Click the
Sensor Export
button.
This button is located on the top bar.
Observe that the
Sensor Export
dialog box opens.

Set up sensor data export.

Click
< < Select
to add the sensors you want to export data from.

Verify that
Enabled Output On Port
is checked.

In the
Communications Settings
section, configure the serial port settings that are
used for sensor data exporting.

In the
UDP Export Settings
section, configure the UDP port settings that are used
for sensor data exporting.
Tip
If the
Local Port
setting does not conflict with another program, leave it as the
default 20009.

Select
OK
to save the chosen settings and close the dialog box.
