Sensor status panes
You can view the sensor status panes in the
Deployment Pack
window on the right side of
the default presentation. The trawl sensor status pane displays the pitch, roll, temperature,
and depth of the Trawl Unit. The PI sensor status pane displays the data from your optional
PI sensors.
Tip
Information from your sensors will not appear in the sensor panes until the Sonar Head
is running. You can also view additional information about your sensor activity in the
Output Messages
window.
The trawl sensor status pane contains the following information.
•
Pitch
The pitch of the Trawl Unit. Positive pitch means the Trawl Unit is tilted down towards
the stern.
•
Roll
The roll of the Trawl Unit. Positive means the Trawl Unit is down towards starboard.
•
Temperature
The temperature at the Trawl Unit’s water depth. The orange trend bar indicates whether
the temperature is steadily increasing or decreasing over time.
•
Depth
The current water depth of the Trawl Unit. The orange trend bar indicates whether the
depth is steadily increasing or decreasing over time.
Up to six sensors are shown in the PI sensor status pane, depending on your system
configuration.
