Lock/Unlock a route

Locate the cursor on a route leg, right click right and select 

Lock

 on the pop-up menu.

Locking and Unlocking the route is also possible in the 

"Route plan overview"

 on page 102 and

in 

"Route properties"

 on page 101.

The route will now be protected from unauthorized alterations.

Note: 

Keyboard modifications in the Route plan window are also impossible when the

route is locked.

Undo

Undo

 function is applicable only for route modification. All modifications made to a route

can be undone except for the function 

Split the route

. Press several times to undo

several modifications made to the route.

 by right clicking on the route and selecting the 

Undo

 from the pop-up

menu.

For route properties, locate the cursor on any leg of the route, right click and select

 from the pop-up menu. Alternatively, move the mouse on top of the route and

press F4 several times to access the route

 toggle to lock or unlock the route. Locking the route will protect it from

Entering the port names is important, as this information will be transferred to the

AIS for use as part of the static data broadcast by VHF
